John Derian

Once called the “Captain of the Cottage Industry”, by the New York Times , for his accomplishments and work in decoupage , John Derian regularly scours flea markets and shops in search of antique documents , from as early as the 19 th century , to use in his works.

He is an avid collector of hand written scripts , often depicting natural motifs such as colourful fruits , flowers and animals. These provide the inspiration to design collections of hand-painted ceramic vases , jars , planters , lamp bases and plates , resulting in rich distinctive collages.

His use of shapes reflects classic styles used over centuries , whereas his designs are unique to contemporary society.

Fabienne Jouvin

An accomplished French artist and designer, Fabienne Jouvin has had a passion for mixing cultural designs ever since she roamed the world, from China to Cuba.

Fabienne was invited to travel to Asia to work with local artisans from villages where ceramics are spun and hand painted. By immersing herself in the Asian culture she was able to utilise the talents and abilities of these artisans to produce exquisite pieces of ceramic and cloisonné.

The results are a collection of stylish fabulously patterned ceramics form vases to boxes with themes and colour that are soft, pleasant and easy to live with. Fabienne’s designs offer a perfect balance of French style and Asian art that is contemporary yet timeless.

Kenzo Takada

Kenzo Takada was the original founder of French Fashion label “Kenzo” and has recently launched his newly conceived “GOKAN KOBO DECOR” label. Loosely translated to mean “Five Senses”, Kenzo’s collection is a stunning array of hand painted porcelain, mouth blown glass and precious bronze work.

His designs are created to provide a link between furniture and objects, establishing a cohesion between spaces , textures, shapes and colours.

Kenzo’s philosophy maintains that decorating is a reflection of our own inner feelings, and consequently unique to each individual. His decorative works are the result of his pursuit for integrity, passion and love of a desired lifestyle.

Natasha Farina

Natasha Farina is celebrated in Paris and Europe for her boudoir and kitsch designs of handbags and accessories. This talent is reflected in her collection of ceramics including vases, trays and jars.

Throughout the collection Natasha has fused together both romantic and renaissance imagery and historical figures with vibrantly coloured and patterned ceramics. To produce a collection that is uniquely beautiful, certain pieces have incorporated the use of intricate and precious gold fretwork.
